An exterminator has been called in to deal with bed bugs found inside a room at the Misericordia Hospital.
A Covenant Health spokesperson told CTV News bed bugs were found inside the doctor’s lounge at the hospital Monday.
Officials said the room was cleaned and sealed off, and an exterminator called in to deal with the bugs.
No patients or doctors were believed to have been affected.
The source of the bed bugs isn’t clear.
