Police confirmed Friday that the disappearance of Dylan Koshman back in 2008 was being investigated by the Homicide Unit, and they were hoping to get a break in the case with help from the public.
Koshman hasn’t been since walking away from his home in the area of 104 Street and 33 Avenue on October 11, 2008.
At the time, it was alleged the then 21-year-old had been drinking, and got into an argument with his roommates before being asked to leave that night.
Staff Sgt. Duane Hunter said Friday that the Homicide Unit had been involved in the investigation since 2015, and investigators were hoping tips from the public would lead to a break in the case.
“Because we have received new information, and because we anticipate receiving more, we’ve created a hotline,” Hunter said.
That hotline is 780-391-5444.
