The doors to the Canada Place office tower were closed Wednesday out of health and safety concerns due to water damage caused by a burst pipe.
Maple Leaf Property Management closed the building after a pipe burst Tuesday night impacting some of the building systems.
A spokeswoman with Service Canada says they are working with the management company to repair damages and reopen as soon as possible.
On Wednesday morning, a number of frustrated people looking to renew their passports had to turn around and head home after learning the building was closed.
