A 30-year-old man is dead after he was shot in his home in northwest Edmonton early Saturday morning.
Police were called to the home in the area of 133 street and 155 avenue at approximately 5:00 am on Saturday, after the victim went to a neighbour’s house to call for help. He was transported to hospital, where he later passed away.
After arriving at the scene, investigators determined that the suspect had already fled the area.
Homicide investigators believe that the victim and the shooter were known to each other, and that this was not a random incident. The investigation is still ongoing.
