RCMP found human remains in a burnt travel trailer south of Fort McMurray on Monday afternoon.
Wood Buffalo RCMP were called to a remote pathway at approximately 1:30 p.m. where a travel trailer had burned down.
Police officers found what is believed to be human remains inside.
RCMP Major Crimes Unit is investigating.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday.
