The Sprucewood Library was forced to close its doors this afternoon after an apparent pepper spray incident.
Edmonton Fire Rescue services were called out to the branch in the city’s northwest around 2:30 p.m. after an irritant substance caused an evacuation.
Fire fighters had to air out the library.
There was no word on the number of people injured.
Library staff confirms the branch will open at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
