The lineup for one of the most anticipated music festivals of the summer was released Wednesday morning.
The lineup for the 2015 Edmonton Folk Music Festival features a number of artists including Of Monsters and Men, Sinead O’Connor, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Lord Huron, Jenny Lewis and Brandi Carlile.
The festival will start Thursday, August 6 at Gallagher Park in Edmonton’s river valley – the main stage schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, August 6, 2015 – 6 to 11 p.m.
- The Duhks, Bombino, Angus and Julia Stone, Of Monsters and Men
- Friday, August 7, 2015 – 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Sinead O’Connor, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros
- Saturday, August 8, 2015 – 2 to 3 p.m.
- Tinariwen
- Saturday, August 8, 2015 – 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
- Matt Andersen, Lucius, Bear’s Den, Richard Thompson, Lord Huron
- Sunday, August 9, 2015 – 2 to 3 p.m.

Tickets to the festival will go on sale June 6, both in-person (at Telus Field that morning) and then at Ticketmaster outlets and online at Ticketmaster that afternoon.
