January 2023: Saif Kaisar is no longer with the company.
Saif Kaisar joined CTV News Edmonton in August 2022.
As a legislative reporter, Saif covers provincial affairs and all things Alberta on TV and online.
He moved to Edmonton in 2022 after stints in Calgary, Montreal, Toronto and Ottawa. He's covered Parliament Hill, The National Assembly, city hall in several cities and countless local beats.
Since graduating from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Saif has worked as a TV, radio and digital reporter. He has also hosted several news, politics and sports-talk shows.
Saif loves chasing a good story to get the answers that you care about, but when he isn't doing that, he's probably enjoying a cigar while walking his dog, Kia.
Saif speaks English.
