Edmonton Police are searching for a number of suspects, after an alleged abduction was reported to police just before 10 a.m. Thursday.

Police said they received several reports of an altercation, in the area of 75 Street and 120 Avenue at about 9:50 a.m.

Reports indicated a woman was assaulted, and abducted.

It’s believed two vehicles were used in the incident, the first one is described as a 2013 dark gray Dodge Dart, with an Alberta license plate HAH 030, and the second vehicle was described as a blue Ford Escape SUV.

Police also had descriptions of a number of individuals believed to have been involved in the incident, the first suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian female, about 25-years-old
  • Shoulder-length brown hair with red and blond streaks
  • 177 cm (5’10”) tall
  • Thin build
  • Wearing black shorts and a gray coat

The second suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male, late 20s
  • About 167 cm (5’6”)
  • Average build

Two other people were travelling in the vehicles – police said they were described by witnesses as large-built aboriginal males, who were both wearing dark hoodies.

Investigators said the four individuals shouldn’t be approached.
