RCMP said one of two at-large suspects in a violent incident in early November had been arrested, but the search was still on for the other individual.

On Thursday, Bonnyville RCMP said warrants had been issued for two individuals: Cashton L’Hirondelle and Aaron Christopher Watt for their alleged roles in an incident that took place on November 9 in La Corey.

Reports indicated a male, who was armed with a machete, stole a black Ford F350 and drove away. He was followed by co-workers of the owner of the truck who were followed by another suspect in an SUV.

It’s alleged the suspect in the SUV fired a shotgun at the co-workers, and hit one of them.

On November 15, one of the suspects – identified only as a female youth – was arrested. She cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. She’s facing nine charges and is scheduled to appear in court in December.

RCMP said on Thursday, November 17, Cashton L’Hirondelle was found and arrested by Edmonton police. Officers found a maroon Ford F350 that had been reported stolen previously in his possession.

Watt faces ten charges in connection to the November 9 incident.

Meanwhile, Watt remains at large, he’s considered armed and dangerous and may be driving the stolen black Ford F350, with an Alberta licence plate BNW 5764.

Watt is facing nine charges including: attempted murder, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of property obtained by the commission of an offence, and possession of a firearm while prohibited.

Anyone with information on the inveistgation or the location of Aaron Watt is asked to call Bonnyville RCMP at 780-343-7200 or Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
