A total of seven Hinton residents are facing more than 30 charges, after ALERT and Hinton RCMP targeted street-level drug trafficking in that community.
According to ALERT, police executed search warrants in two Hinton homes in late March.
As a result, police seized cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana, and dozens of charges were laid against seven Hinton residents: George Meunier, 65, Lance Kreye, 28, Damien Wollenberg, 27, Allanah Leblue, 19, Connor Pruden, 23, Jonathan Evans, 21, and Amber Freehill, 22.
The accused are facing a total of 33 charges ranging from trafficking cocaine, to drug possession, possession of property obtained by crime and obstructing a peace officer.
Investigators said more charges could be laid, as the investigation is ongoing.
