Fire crews from a number of different jurisdictions were on the scene of an industrial blaze in Leduc late into Thursday night.

The Leduc Fire Chief said the fire broke out at about 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the Global Fusion facility, in an industrial area of Leduc.

Fire crews from Leduc, Leduc County, and the Edmonton International Airport responded to the blaze.

Crews arrived to find smoke and flames pouring out of the warehouse - there were concerns with fighting the fire as chemicals were believed to be inside the building.

Firefighters said all of the people inside the building got out safely.

An owner of the business told CTV News about 30 people were inside when the fire started.
