Heat hat-trick: Edmonton sets 3rd straight daily record high

Share

The city set another record high Friday afternoon with 33.4 C, sneaking past the previous high mark of 33.3 C for July 19 set in 1979.

Friday is the third consecutive day with a record daytime high and the sixth record high (so far) this month. There's a chance we'll see a few more record highs set this weekend and on Monday and Tuesday.

Here's a look at the forecast highs and the record highs for the next five days.

Sunday and Tuesday should easily break records. It'll be a bit closer (especially with some smoke depressing temperatures slightly) on Saturday and Monday.
