Here comes the Upper Ridge!
A bubble of warm air aloft will push in over Alberta this week.
So, after a cool end to summer...it should be a warm first week of Autumn.
Daytime highs in Edmonton (and across most of Central and Northern Alberta) will be in the mid-teens to low 20s for the next few days.

Ahead of that ridge, we have some showers in eastern Alberta this morning.
Those showers should move into Saskatchewan this afternoon.
In the west, we'll have some afternoon showers in the foothills.
Most of that should stay south of Edmonton as it heads east tonight.
However, there's a slight risk of a shower late this evening or overnight in the Capital Region.

There may also be a few showers in the Peace Country late Tuesday and a risk of a few scattered showers early Wednesday in the NE.
Outside of that, it's shaping up to be a mostly dry week for much of the province.
