The family of a missing Edmonton man has not given up hope of finding him.

A fundraising hockey game was held in Moose Jaw on Saturday to help fund the search for Dylan Koshman.

The 21-year-old, who was raised in Moose Jaw, vanished from his Edmonton home last October.

He and the cousin he lived with had an argument but his mother, Melanie Alix, says that even though he was angry, it is out of character for him to be away this long.

His wallet was found in a neighbour's yard, hours after he was last seen.

Since then, police, family and friends have searched extensively for him and even erected billboards to draw attention to the case.

Koshman's family says they are grateful for the support they've received in Moose Jaw.

"It's overwhelming," said Alix. "It makes us so happy that people are out there helping us. Moose Jaw ... is a kind and loving city to come forth and help us with all this tragedy, this nightmare that we're living through."
