High Level Bridge reopens after Friday morning police incident

EDMONTON -- The High Level Bridge was briefly shut down due to a police incident.

Edmonton police said officers were responding to a non-criminal event on the bridge just before 8 a.m. Friday morning.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians were asked to use other routes.

The bridge reopened at around 8:45 a.m., according to police.

The High Level Bridge is currently shut down while officers respond to a non criminal event. Motorists, cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use other routes. Thankyou. #yegtraffic #yeg
