A Saturday morning fire in High Level has destroyed part of the 4-Winds Hotel located on 97 Street, near Highway 35.
At about 9 a.m. crews were called to the scene where they found a building, containing the lobby, restaurant and lounge, fully engulfed in flames.
According to officials, the blaze was quickly contained to the one structure, preventing any damage to the surrounding hotel rooms.
No one was hurt.
RCMP said the fire remains under investigation, but is not believed to be suspicious.
While no damage estimate has been made available – the affected building is considered to be a total loss.
High Level is located about 700 kilometres north of Edmonton.
