RCMP said the search for a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, is over, and the man is in custody.
According to police, Hinton RCMP found Clayton Gosney, 47, late Wednesday night.
Gosney was arrested without incident.
In late August, RCMP asked the public for help in tracking Gosney down – an arrest warrant was issued for him for violating parole conditions.
Police said Gosney had served a more than two year jail sentence in 2011 for a number of charges, including stolen property, resisting arrest and drug offenses.
RCMP said information from the public helped officers track Gosney down.
