Sydney Upright is an Editorial Assistant for CTV News Edmonton.
She graduated from MacEwan University’s Journalism program in 2020. While pursuing her degree at MacEwan, she worked as an Assistant Editor at the university’s student magazine, The Griff.
Prior to joining CTV News, Sydney worked on various video projects including a documentary to capture the discoveries of Canadian and Russian archeologists in Siberia.
Outside of work, she likes to spend time with animals or enjoy a good film.
Sydney speaks English.
