A west Edmonton garage was damaged Friday morning after a fire broke out in a vehicle inside.
Firefighters were called to the garage in the area of 156 Street and 115A Avenue just before 8 a.m. Friday after heavy black smoke was reported coming from the business.
When crews arrived, they found a van inside the garage on fire – crews had to shut down part of 156 Street as they fought the fire.
The fire was contained to the vehicle, but there was smoke damage throughout the rest of the building.
The shop is owned by Jamie Davis, who appears on the Discovery Channel reality TV show ‘Highway Thru Hell’, following the operations of Davis’ rescue and recovery towing company.
