Four fire departments responded to a large barn fire north of Edmonton Sunday afternoon.
Officials with Sturgeon County Fire said two barns were fully involved when they arrived at the property on Township Road 561 and Range Road 251 just after 2:30 p.m.
The fire spread to a third barn on the property but there were no injuries as the barns were empty except for hay and straw.
Fire crews from Morinville, Bon Accord, Legal and Namao responded.
There was no word on a cause.
