A 57-year old woman is facing charges after allegedly stealing more than $130,000 from her former employer.

Jocelyn Matilda Elliot, from St. Albert, is charged with theft and fraud after Leduc RCMP received a complaint from Western R.V. Country, her former place of work.

Investigators believe Elliot stole more than $130,000 from the company. She's scheduled to appear in court in February.

This incident follows the arrest of a west end hardware store employee over the past weekend. 46-year old Marilyn Groves was charged for allegedly stealing more than $124,000 through debit card theft. It's believed she was ringing customer returns onto her own debit card.

Groves has been charged with theft.
