RCMP in Leduc said a 30-year-old man had been charged in connection to the death of a man in his 40s late last week.

Leduc RCMP said officers were called Friday, November 21 at about 4 p.m., to a home in Calmar, on reports that a man was dead inside.

The deceased man was later identified as Michael Lafleche, 46, of Calmar – the cause of his death has not been determined, an autopsy had been scheduled for Monday afternoon.

Police said Brent Tetreault, 30, also of Calmar, had been charged with second degree murder.
