An Edmonton man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to manslaughter.
Jeffery Glenn Kellar admitted to killing his common-law wife, Judy Jones, after a drunken fight back in 2007.
Jones, 45, was found dead inside a duplex at 19th Avenue and 104th Street in September of 2007. Police initially declared her death suspicious, but it was later upgraded to a homicide when an autopsy revealed she died due to blunt force trauma.
Jones was Edmonton's 24th homicide of 2007.
