A man is dead after a two-vehicle collision on the Anthony Henday Drive Friday morning.
Police and emergency crews reported to the scene of the crash involving two pickup trucks between Lessard Road and Callingwood Road exits at approximately 6:50 a.m.
In a press release, police said that a Dodge Ram travelling southbound crossed the median and collided head-on with a Ford F150 travelling northbound.
The 31-year-old driver of the Ford F150 was pronounced dead on scene.
The 44-year-old driver of the Dodge Ram was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The southbound lanes re-opened later in the morning, and the northboud lanes were re-opened at approximately 2 p.m.
EPS Major Collision Investigations (MCIU) is investigating the collision.
No charges have been laid at this time.
Investigators are looking for witnesses.
