Police northeast of Edmonton are investigating, after a highway crash west of Smoky Lake left one dead, and three others injured.
Smoky Lake RCMP said officers were called to Highway 28 near Range Road 174 at about 12:20 a.m. Wednesday after a two vehicle collision was reported.
RCMP said one person has died, and three others were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
The affected stretch of highway was closed for several hours as police investigated.
