Edmonton police say they've arrested a man connected to eleven alleged thefts and robberies in the Edmonton area over a two month period.

Alexander Gustav Marshall has been charged with five counts of robbery, six counts of theft under $5,000 and eleven counts of breach of recognizance, as well as break and enter.

Marshall allegedly targeted retail and jewelery stores around Edmonton between November 19, 2012 and January 1, 2013.

In one instance a clerk was injured, but did not require medical attention.

Marshall is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
