The trial for a man accused in the death of a 77-year-old Edmonton woman will begin on Monday.
Sivakurmar Devarajah has been charged with impaired operation of a vehicle causing death and driving over the legal limit causing death.
The charges stem from a collision in February 4, 2013 at the intersection of 110 Avenue and 156 Street that sent Agnes Morgan to the hospital with serious injuries.
Morgan died hours later.
The trial will be held at Edmonton’s court of Queen’s Bench starting at 10 a.m.
