A developing Upper Ridge should keep Edmonton & most of Alberta under sunny skies today.
One or 2 isolated thunderstorms may bubble up in the foothills or NW Alberta.
However, most areas will stay dry today.
Temperatures rose to 23.6 in Edmonton Monday & we should get into the 25 or 26 range this afternoon.

The Upper Ridge starts to collapse late Wednesday and that'll bring a storm risk back into the picture.
The Upper Low lurking off the west coast will sweep eastwards bringing a chance of storms to W & NW Alberta Wednesday afternoon/evening.
The Capital Region may see some storms Wednesday night and E Alberta gets a chance of storms late Wednesday night or early Thursday.

Behind the storm risk is a good chance of showers for Thursday.
GFS is indicating some steadier rain right through the day.
The rain should taper off Friday but we'll stay cool.
Daytime highs will be in the 17 to 21 range for both Thursday & Friday.

Drier & warmer weather returns for the weekend.
