Freezing Rain Warnings are in effect for areas between Grande Prairie & Red Deer.
Pockets of freezing rain are expected in those areas late this morning & through the afternoon.

In the Capital Region, it looks like this will probably fall as snow instead of freezing rain.
We get a chance of flurries midday & then another chance of light snow tonight.
1-3cm is possible by Saturday morning.
Parts of East-Central & NE Alberta could get 5-10cm of snow by tomorrow mornign.

Warm air pushes back in for the weekend.  Daytime highs jump back above zero in Edmonton.
Those mild temperatures look like they'll stick around through most (probably all) of next week.
