Hours after the Correctional Service of Canada said a 20-year-old man had escaped from an Edmonton facility, officials said he was in police custody.
On Monday afternoon, CSC said Carlos Tecomba, 20, was unaccounted for. He is serving time at the Stan Daniels Healing Centre for a number of crimes.
Just after midnight Tuesday, officials said Tecomba was apprehended by Edmonton police.
CSC is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
