Edmonton police said Tuesday that an autopsy had been conducted on the man found dead in a north central apartment building over the weekend.
Investigators said the Medical Examiner confirmed that Michael McNeill, 22, died as a result of a stab wound he suffered in a fight with another man.
Police said the homicide took place in an apartment suite near 107 Avenue and 116 Street on Saturday, October 18.
McNeill’s body was found Saturday morning by police.
Cody Ross Larson, 23, was arrested on Saturday, and has been charged with second degree murder and possession of a weapon.
