Blackfalds RCMP renewed their request in asking for the public’s help to locate 68-year-old Roze Burk who was reported missing from a Red Deer County address on March 13.

Burk was last seen by a family friend at the Deer Park Co-op in Red Deer on March 12.

She is described as:

  • White female
  • 167.5 cm tall (5’6”)
  • 54.5 kg (119 lbs)
  • Blue eyes, usually wearing eye glasses
  • White hair

Burk was last seen wearing jeans, a pink shirt and a long sleeved, grey jacket.

Roze is believed to be driving a 2008 grey Ford Escape with an Alberta licence plate (GCA091), and believed to be travelling with her dog, a West Highland Terrier with shaggy, white hair.

Reports said she has family in Manitoba and may be travelling there.

Burke has not been diagnosed medically, but according to the press release it is believed that she may be suffering from dementia-related symptoms.

“We, along with Roze’s family and friends, are very concerned for Roze’s safety, the public can be our best resource when it comes to locating missing people. In this case, Roze really needs all of our help so we can find her and get her home safely,” said Blackfalds RCMP Detachment Commander, Ken Morrison.
