The unsolved case of a senior's death dating back four months has now been ruled a homicide.
Marvin Arthur Witzaney of Edmonton has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of an 84-year-old woman last May.
A suite at the Edmonton Chinese Seniors Lodge located at 95th St. and 102 A Ave. was broken into and the woman was assaulted. She later died in hospital.
