The weather wasn't as warm as many hoped it would be for the Coronation Triathlon, organizers say the athletes were more than happy with Sunday's cool weather.

"It's a bit chilly, but its great weather for athletes," said race director Roxanne Prunkl. "The rain held off and it's a little bit on the cool side, so it makes for a good run."

Both amateur and professional athletes challenged themselves over a one kilometre swim, 26 kilometre bike ride and an eight kilometre run.

The winner of the triathlon, Austin Horn, trains about 30 hours a week and is looking forward to future events.

"My dream is the 2012 Olympics, so hopefully I will be on the start line there in London," said Horn who is now preparing for his next triathlon at the World Championships in Vancouver.
