Morninville RCMP say five people were injured in a three-vehicle collision on Highway 28.
The incident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Friday between Township Road 570 and 564, which was closed while crews cleaned up the area.
A 59-year-old woman and a 55-year-old-man were taken to hospital as a result of the incident.
Both are in stable condition.
Three others were also injured but officials say they were treated on the scene.
Police are still investigating and say they expect to lay charges.
