Homicide detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in the Alberta Avenue area on Friday.
Edmonton police officers were called to the area of 116 Avenue and 97 Street around 11:30 p.m. after a man in his 40s was found dead in an alley.
Edmonton police say the man was found with “obvious signs of trauma”.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
As of Saturday evening, police had no suspects in custody.
The death is being treated as suspicious.
