Protesters in the Occupy Edmonton movement have asked people to sign a petition to show support for the cause.
The group has been camped out in a downtown park since last weekend.
Melcor, the company that owns the park, served campers an eviction notice on Saturday.
They said it is not a safe environment for demonstrators and wants them out by 11 p.m. Sunday.
Organizers have developed an online petition to support their movement.
