Police are still searching for three men wanted in connection with a year-old seizure of $850,000 methamphetamine, more than a dozen firearms, and more than $70,000 in cash.
Last year, officers from the Edmonton Drug and Gang Enforcement team conducted search warrants on four Edmonton residences, three of which were located in the Liberty Building on 105 Street and Jasper Avenue, and one near 80 Avenue and 101 Street.
Police seized about eight kilograms of methamphetamine with a street value of $850,000, marijuana, more than 1,500 ecstasy pills, cocaine, 13 firearms, more than $72,000 in cash, four bullet-proof vests, and drug packaging materials throughout the course of their investigation.
Police say 29-year-old Derek Joseph Chambers, Martin Vu, 28, and 33-year-old Emerson Omar Huine have evaded officers for the past year.
The three men have numerous charges pending against them, including trafficking, and unauthorized possession of firearms.
Anyone with information regarding these three men is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
