Police south of Edmonton are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a young woman, believed to have played a role in breaking into a home in Leduc in April.

Leduc RCMP said on April 16, at about 11:45 p.m., a group of about four people forced their way into a residence in the South Park area of Leduc.

The two males inside the home were both assaulted – police said one of them suffered life-threatening injuries.

RCMP are investigating, and have connected Kathleen (Katie) Archibald, 23, to the incident as a suspect – she’s facing a number of charges, including attempted murder.

A warrant has been issued for her arrest, and RCMP are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact RCMP at 780-980-7200, or to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
