Police east of Edmonton said they were on the lookout for a suspect believed to be behind a number of incidents this week that saw women groped as they jogged.
Strathcona County RCMP said three incidents reportedly happened on a trail near Calico Drive and Colwill Boulevard on Tuesday, May 19 between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.
RCMP said while running on the path, three women reported a male running towards them had grabbed their buttocks’ while running past them – the women said the individual kept running in the opposite direction.
The women were alone at the time and didn’t know the man – no injuries were reported.
The male is described as:
- Between 20 and 25-years-old
- Between 170 cm (5’7”) and 180 cm (5’11”) tall
- About 72.5 kg (160 lbs)
- Caucasian
- Brown, shaggy hair and scruffy facial hair
The suspect was wearing a plaid pattern shirt or jacket, camo baseball cap and jeans.
