EDMONTON -- The City of St. Albert is giving people a new option for gathering outdoors by allowing portable fire pits on driveways instead of backyards.
Officials are strongly recommending propane fire pits, although wood burning is allowed and no permit is needed.
Driveway pits will be permitted every Saturday for the next three months.
