A section of the Yellowhead Highway near Jasper is partially closed following a rock slide Saturday morning.
The slide happened just before 10 a.m. between the town of Jasper and the British Columbia border.
During the rock slide, a vehicle avoiding the debris collided with another vehicle. Don Smith, the Jasper Deputy Fire Chief, told CTV Edmonton there we no serious injuries.
The highway was shut down in the area for about five hours, until an alternating single lane was opened at about 2:30 p.m.

Highway maintenance and emergency personnel remain on the scene, and the highway is expected to reopen later Saturday.
