A 19-year-old man has now been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of a man over the weekend in Edmonton.
The victim, Raad Hamza, 24, was found unconscious by Whyte Avenue beat officers in the area of 105 street and 82 avenue just before 2:30 on Saturday morning. He was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries, where he later passed away.
An autopsy conducted on Monday determined that the cause of death was head trauma.
Kyle Charles Ashton has now been arrested and charged in connection with the case. The investigation is still on going.
