Late Sunday night, RCMP he remained in custody, and was awaiting a hearing.

Moosomin went missing on August 14, after he attended the Samson Pow-wow, under the escort of an Elder, but his escort lost sight of him during the event.

He was unlawfully at large from the Pê Sâkâstêw Centre, where he was serving an indeterminate sentence for six convictions, including sexual assault.

The Correctional Service of Canada is investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
