Occupational Health and Safety is investigating a workplace death that occurred in Devon Tuesday morning.
A worker with Encore Coring and Drilling was hit in the head by a piece of falling equipment and died of his injuries.
The incident happened around 4 a.m. at a site owned by Devon Energy. Occupational Health and Safety has just begun its investigation.
The victim's name and age have not been disclosed.
