Strathcona County RCMP have asked for the public’s help after a pedestrian was hit on Highway 14.

The incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Saturday near Ministik School.

A 46-year-old man was jogging eastbound when he was struck by part of a vehicle; police said it may have been the mirror of the vehicle.

RCMP said the vehicle fled the scene and the pedestrian was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle was described as a red or maroon-coloured SUV or pickup truck.
