The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is warning the public about tea that may be contaminated with Salmonella.

The agency is recalling Tega brand Organic Lemon Hisbiscus Green Rooibos Herbal Tea with UPC 6 64322 10406 0, and best before dates of 2014FE01, 2014MR27, and 2014MR28.

They have also warned the public not to consume   Murchie’s Lemon Drop Tea   (UPC 0 67421 31025 5) or  Co-Op Gold Organic Pomegranate W hite tea (UPC 0 57316 14280 1).  

The products have been distributed in several provinces including Alberta but no illnesses have been reported.
