Edmonton police said three suspects had been arrested, after officers stopped an unregistered vehicle early Tuesday morning and found a variety ow weapons inside.
On Tuesday, at about 3 a.m., Downtown Division officers pulled over a 2002 BMW in the area of 111 Avenue and 96 Street.
Police found two of the three people inside the vehicle had outstanding warrants, when they left the vehicle, police found a prohibited weapon, and two large machetes.
The third individual in the car was then arrested.
Police searched the vehicle, and found a .357 revolver, ammunition, knives, a baseball bat and a bag of masks and gloves.
Sarah Barteski, 26, Devin Carleton, 28, and Sean Marten, 34 are facing a variety of weapons charges.
