A man convicted in the death of an Edmonton police officer is back in jail, just 16 months after he was freed from custody.
Albert Foulston had his release revoked on January 5th after a number of parole violations. The most recent offence was in November of last year, when he was found driving without a licence. He later told police he had consumed two alcoholic beverages that night – a breach of his parole conditions.
The 48-year-old was let out of prison after he served the statutory two-third portion of his 20-year manslaughter sentence related to the death of Ezio Farone back in 1990.
He was the getaway driver involved in a botched robbery that saw his partner Jerry Crews fatally shoot the officer.
Foulston will be up for statutory release again in August of this year.
